His main scientific interest was in protein interaction predictions. In particular, he developed a new algorithm to identify multiple specificity in Peptide Recognition Modules. He was trained as a physicist at University of Lausanne (Switzerland) where he received his Master in 2003. He then obtained his PhD in Theoretical Physics at Swiss Federal Institute of Technology ([[http://www.epfl.ch|EPFL]]) in 2007.
